Westquarter & Redding Cricket Club are a friendly local club always looking for new players of any age and ability.  At present we have one team who are newly promoted to East League Division 2, but we are are always happy to welcome new members from young to old!

Outdoor practices will start in April, please see our Facebook Group or follow @WestquarterCC on Twitter for the most up to date information.

During the winter the club are undertaking a major build with the old farmhouse becoming a children's nursery.  Please come back soon to see photos of progress so far.

Saturday 11th July Game is Cancelled

Saturday's home game against Morton has been cancelled.


As you will see from the pictures the ground is still flooded which has prevented any grass cutting (and still will) or wicket prep.


Hopefully dry in the next week to get the water away!

Usman Abbid

Right Hand Bat / Right Hand Medium Pace Bowler

Usman is one of the first products of the WRCC Westies, who made is bowling debut in the 2012 season.  Usman picked up several wickets in a rain affected season with his late swing bowling and his ability to swing the ball both ways.  His batting is developing and is a solid lower middle order batsman.

No equipment is necessary, just trainers, trackies and a top, plus bags of enthusiasm!

When? - Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:30, from April 21st

Cost? - First session is free to try and then £15 for the year
