Alan has a range of strokes any player would be proud of, but gets himself out just when a big score seems imminent. He is also under the impression that he's retired.

Jim has produced notable performances with both bat and ball over the last few seasons. Used mainly as a bowler he has the knack of breaking up partnerships, but can certainly score runs in the middle order.

Stephen Sutton

Stephen started as a promising all rounder with his swing bowling and belligerent batting. The bowling faded as he concentrated on his batting until he exploded back onto the scene as a spinner, and faded again, and the next explosion is imminent. 

Hamad Mumtaz

One of many new recruits for the 2006 season. A genuine allrounder who can cause problems with his quick bowling and can be devastating with the bat. Hamad scored over 50 in his first two games for the club, and was the 2006 player of the year.

Adam Jeremiah

RH Bat

Adam joined the club towards the end of the 2005 season and was lucky enough to be part of our end of season winning run. He is a hard hitting middle order batsman who can accumulate runs quickly. Recently he has turned his hand to bowling leg breaks and has taken a few wickets.

Shoeb Farooqi

RHB/RH Off Spin

Shoeb Joined in 2006 and has been an excellent asset to the club. He is a true allrounder and weighs in with runs, wickets, and run outs! A very patient batsman who can switch to all out attack in an instant, and one of the most effective bowlers at the club with many clever variations of pace and turn.

Colin Fox

Also joined the club from Boroughmuir in 2003 . Colin has regularly opened the bowling since, and on occasion takes a few wickets when the batsmen pity him. Bowls quickish left-arm inswingers, with the odd wide and long hop to vary things.

He also does the website in his spare time, which he seems to have a lot of.

Stuart Fox

Robert Sutton

RHB / WK

The leading run scorer (for held records) of the club and opening batsman, having worked his way up the order from a debut at no.11. Can play either a defensive or attacking innings, but usually at the wrong times.

Robert is also as good a wicket keeper as you'll see in the league.  

Barry Sutherland

RHB / RM

Like father like son, as the saying goes. Barry has a superb range of strokes but often gets carried away leading to a stumping or skied catch. He saves many runs with his excellent fielding, and has one of the safest pair of hands at the club.
