The season may be over, but we still have two events to look forward to. First up is the inter-club match on Sunday September 12th, where captain Hamad Mumtaz will lead his side against Adam Jeremiah's Vice-captain's select. Following this is the Annual Awards Evening on Saturday the 18th at Fuscos.
All players, members, families, and friends are most welcome to attend both.

Two early wickets from Stuart Fox, half centuries from Hamad Mumtaz and
Abdul Baqi, and some timely hitting from Adam Jeremiah, led
Westquarter to their first ever Presidents Trophy after successfully
chasing down a daunting 194 against Dunfermline's Kismet C.C at Boghall, West Lothian. The match report and scorecard are here

Westquarter & Redding once again put their league struggles to one side, defeating Division 1 side Watsonian 2nd to progress to the Presidents Trophy Final.
WRCC will now face fellow division 2 side Kismet in the final, which will take place on Sunday 22nd August at 1pm at Boghall, West Lothian.
All are welcome to come along to the final, a bar will be available throughout the day. Directions to the ground are available here.

Following a hard fought win at Murrayfield DAFS on Thursday night, WRCC have earned a place in the Activcity T20 Trophy Finals day on August 8th 2010. The semi finals and final will take place on the same day at Myreside, Edinburgh, with our semi final being against Livingston C.C at the Craiglockhart pitch at 12:30.
A licenced bar and food will be available throughout the day, so all club members and supporters are encouraged to come along to support the team.

In preparation for the league season starting on May 1st, the club is required to submit a full player registration to the East League, as only registered players are permitted to play in league games.
Could all current and prospective players please contact us through the website ASAP if you haven't already been contacted regarding availablity, or if your contact details (address and phone number) have changed since last season. Also, if you wish to be removed from the club registration please let us know immediately.
If you have been attending indoor nets and no one has been in touch, please call or e-mail the club, as we may not have gathered everyone's details.
For any new players wishing to join this would be an ideal time to contact us.

Indoor training has now come to an end, and outdoor training will start on Tuesday 13th April at 6:30pm.
As always, outdoor trianing is free of charge and takes place at Bailliefields. Everyone should make an effort to turn up early on the 12th to assist with getting the nets set up.
Those who wish to be considered for Saturday's game must attend on Tuesday.

Congratulations to Umar Aslam and Stuart Fox, who both completed their ECB Coaching Assistant (UKCC1) qualification. They now join Stephen Sutton as active coaches at the club.

A short introductory umpiring course will be held at The
Arns, Clackmannan
County Cricket Club on Tuesday 16th March 7pm – 9.30pm. This is free of charge and all club members are encouraged to attend. Please e-mail via the website or contact Stephen or Colin before Thursday 18th February if you wish to attend.
