JUNIOR COACHING 9th MAY 2010 10am -11.30am

Welcome to the re-launch of the Junior section.

SUNDAY 9th May 2010 will see the start of the Junior coaching sessions at Bailliefields the home of Westquarter and Redding Cricket Club. Coaching will be every Sunday until August.

These sessions are mainly for children (Boys and Girls) in P4 to P7 and S1 to S3 but all ages are welcome regardless of ability!

The club is looking to establish a junior section following a successful school cricket program. This cricket program was organised by Sports Central and Cricket Scotland and culminated in children from Hallglen, Laurieston, St.Margarets, Wallacestone, Westquarter, Shieldhill and Maddiston primary schools taking part in a Kwik cricket tournament. 

The coaching sessions will be looking to develop the skills that children have gained during the school program. However, more important than any previous skills is having energy and enthusiasm.

All coaching is carried out by qualified staff who have undergone Disclosure checks. All coaching is FREE with equipment provided by the club.

Please bring along a bottle of water, a warm top (incase of cold weather), trainers and a BIG SMILE.
