About Us

Westquarter & Redding Cricket Club are a friendly local club always looking for new members whether to play, volunteer or watch, everyone is welcome at Bailliefields.

We have two senior weekend teams who play in the East League, a Women's team playing in the Challenger League and a mid-week T20 team. For Juniors we also have All Stars (5-8), Girls Only Dynamos (8-11), Kwik Cricket (u12), u12, u14 and u16 junior teams.

Whether you are an experienced player looking for a new challenge or a complete beginner wanting to try the sport, WRCC provides a welcoming environment for all ages and abilities.

We have a thriving junior section catering for ages 5 to 17. Learn to play cricket in a fun and safe atmosphere. All these junior and indeed our senior teams are mixed gender. If you are interested in female only please see the female section below.

Super 1s

A community-based cricket programme giving people with disabilities aged 8 upwards the chance to play cricket.

Table Cricket

Played on a table tennis table with side panels and sliding fielders, specifically designed to allow participation from wheelchair users to able bodied people.

Grounds & Maintenance

Help keep our facilities at Bailliefields in top condition. Painting, repairs, and ground preparation.

Other Volunteering

Help with scoring, umpiring, or Admin. No experience necessary for many roles with a small commitment of time!
